Andrea Navedo, an American writer and actress. She began her career on the soaps One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she played a variety of supporting roles on primetime TV. Andrea Navedo, an American actor and singer, was born in The Bronx New York United States on the 10th of October 1977. Navedo's career in acting started with soap operas. Between 1995 and 1997, she was Linda Soto in ABC's soap drama One Life to Live. In 1999 she joined the crew of the CBS soap show Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. Her debut film was a role in Girl 6 in 1996. Later, she appeared on the shows New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo played as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the year after. Navedo played a regular role in the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages was the next episode, as did Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in movies like El Cantante, Remember Me as well as a variety of other films. Navedo played recurring roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and How to Make It in America Golden Boy from 2011 until 2013. Navedo was a part of the Comedy film Superfast! The Fast and the Furious films were parodied in the 2015 movie. Navedo began her career as an actress in soap operas that aired during the daytime.
